God promises us that every Christian who tries to live a
Christ-honoring life will suffer persecution for their faith. That
persecution can take many shapes and sizes. Often it comes as either subtle or outright verbal attacks against us about the Bible, others will
challenge us on the historical truth of Jesus, or a teacher will claim that evolution has been proven. These are all forms of
persecution, assaulting our faith, and worse than that, they are attempts to keep people from believing in and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They call it “Seeing the Big Picture.” When you realize that studying apologetics (WHAT you believe and WHY you believe it) is not really just about you at all. It is about others, and being able to convincingly lead them to faith in Christ. The eternal souls of your friends, classmates, and teachers depend upon their decision for Jesus Christ.
